Lesson Overview
Students investigate the structure and function of cell organelles by comparing plant and animal cells, using diagrams, data tables, and analogical reasoning. The lesson culminates in a 'Cell City' design challenge where students justify organelle-to-city-structure mappings in writing.

- Printed plant cell and animal cell diagrams (one per student)
- Blank cell diagram worksheet (unlabeled, one per student)
- Colored pencils (at least 6 colors per student)
